Green products for a healthier lifestyle

Green Products for a healthier lifestyle. With all the news lately about climate changes. Having weather fluctuations and seasons being all scrambled up, it makes me wonder.  I’ve noticed that so many people have taken their focus off going green.  I wonder myself at times, if it seems like the disaster has already been set in motion and there is nothing much we can do about it.  I hear so many people say it is too late to reverse climate change.  I wonder if they feel that being green is only to reverse climate change. I for one, don’t believe it. Being Green is more of a healthier lifestyle, feeling better and living a less toxic lifestyle, than it is to reverse climate change.  Green products for a healthier lifestyle is why we promote green products. Sure every step we take will help in the battle against pollution, climate change, toxic land and oceans. The immediate results are in your own day to day life. The way you feel when you wake up, clean, and your overall health. Taking it down to the tiniest step we make to better our lives starts a cycle of becoming more green.  Buying Green products such as non toxic cleaning products, organic mattresses, and natural bedding such as bamboo sheets makes a huge difference in how we feel from everyday.  It helps our children’s brain, and nervous system grow and develop without petrochemicals inhaled in their lungs. It helps prevent diseases such as asthma, and allergies. It also help the environment using less chemicals, and having less toxic disposal of the chemicals used in mainstream products. Natural Homes use Green Products

Why Natural Homes use Green products? What’s all the hype about greening your home? So many times people think that having a natural home means eating Organic foods, using filtered water, using a re-usable shopping bags and recycling.  That is only part of the process. Many well intended consumers  fall into the greenwashing trap and think that because a company uses gimmicky labels they are Green products. That’s usually not the case. Educate yourself on product ingredients so you will know a toxic product using greenwashing, and you can make educated decisions about the products you bring into your home for your family.  Natural homes encompass so much more than eating healthy, re-using and recycling. Natural homes use true green products such as organic mattresses, natural bedding, non-toxic drinking bottles and avoid using products with toxic chemicals in their bath and body products, kitchen products or pet beds that can contaminate the home. The air we breathe in our home can be the most toxic air we breathe.  Our home contains many toxins we are not aware of such as, flooring, carpet, drapes, furniture and paint.  Unless you build a new all certified Green home, you have toxins in your home that can’t be avoided.  These products off gas continually and are trapped inside your home.  Even with air filters, it might not completely clean the air of these toxins. Green parents know that indoor air quality is important. That’s why they try and minimize the toxins in their home by using Green products that will create a healthier more natural home for their family.  Natural mothers shop for the most economical and natural, non-toxic or organic home products so they can create more of a natural home affordably. Black Friday Shop Eco Friendly Products

Black Friday is the busiest shopping day of the year! It has massive lines and campers eager to be the first in line for the best deals.  Marketers spend all year planning for this big holiday shopping day. It is also the most wasteful time of the year. People spend more on this day than any other day of the year because of the huge savings.  How can Black Friday be a day of less waste?  There are small things you can do to help keep Black Friday shopping less of a carbon footprint and still save money for your holiday gifts.  This Black Friday try and buy Eco Friendly Products instead of the mainstream products. It might take an extra few minutes to look at the label, but in the long run, it can make a huge difference for the environment. Most major box stores like Best Buy have boxes labeled so you know the product has a Eco Friendly product inside.

Look also for the recycle symbol when shopping, so you know that when that person is done, the product doesn’t have to go in the landfill.  Don’t forget to take your re-usable shopping bag with you so you don’t need to use those plastic bags they give you at the checkout.  It can keep those bags out of the landfill and out of the oceans. It also is less of a hassle you can toss your re-usable shopping bag back in your car.

Avoid buying one use products that you know will end up in the landfill.  Carpool to the malls or shopping centers. Refuse unnecessary products when shopping or eating out.  Make sure you recycle when you get home the boxes and papers that come with the products.  Remember that every little step we take makes a huge impact on the environment.  Shop Eco Friendly Products this holiday season and feel good about your footprint.
