Buying an Organic Mattress
There are a few things to keep in mind when deciding to buy an Organic mattress. If you have medical conditions, it would be good to speak to a medical Dr. or a Chiropractor about what might be good for your back.
Do research before you buy. Not all Natural mattresses or Organic mattress are created equal. You need to know what you are buying the contents of the mattress and chemicals, if any, that could cause issue with allergies, asthma etc.
One of the biggest complaints I hear from people is that they just purchased an expensive mainstream mattress and now they can’t sleep on it due to the odor from off gassing. They then have an expensive mattress they cannot use.
Check out the complaints and the reviews to make sure what you are buying is highly rated.
Ask about return policies to make sure that if your unhappy with your mattress, you can return it. Our mattresses come with a guarantee.
Check the warranty on the mattress, good quality mattresses have a good warranty.
Remember that firm mattresses aren’t always best, depends on your body type, weight and your health condition, same with pillow top mattresses. Marketing campaigns will convince you that you need a top of the line pillow top mattress, not necessarily true. Studies suggest that light weight people don’t need a pillow top mattress. Their weight doesn’t weigh them down enough to get to the underlying support, heavier adults might need more cushion under their body. I’ve heard many complaints of people buying the memory foam mattresses thinking they would be soft, only to find out they are too firm, and uncomfortable.
Not all Organic mattresses are created equal. Check out the mattress contents, reviews and ratings before buying an Organic mattress. You investment will be worthwhile.
